To approve the car for its participation in FIA GT1, the Mercedes Benz had to produce a small series of its latest competition car, the CLK GTR Coupé. It produced 22 units of this incredible car, 20 of which were reserved for clients, and 2 destined for the 24 Hours of le Mans 1998. The Mercedes-Benz CLK GTR Coupé is equipped with a V12 from its own factories, with 612 horsepower, allowing it to reach a top speed of 323 km/h and to go from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds.
