This Toyota Celica is the competition version of the Japanese coupe of the brand. It made its competitive debut at the 1988 Tour de Corse before obtaining its first victory at the 1989 Rallye d'Australie. This 4WD branded with the number 15 at the 1991 Tour de Corse Rally was driven by Marc Duez. He finished that particular race in 4th place. Within Toyota Team Europe, Carlos Sainz made mincemeat of the race and won, honouring his title of World Rally Champion in 1990.
