Often referred to as the "Race to the Clouds," it has been held since 1916, drawing numerous celebrated drivers and a broad array of manufacturers. In 2023, Alpine took on the legendary course with Raphaël Astier at the wheel. The car, featuring a striking design characteristic of this event, was a heavily modified version of the Alpine A110 GT4. Delivering 500 horsepower and weighing just 950 kg, the vehicle completed the 19.93 km course, with its 156 turns, in 9 minutes and 17.412 seconds. This impressive performance secured a commendable third place in the Open category, behind two electric vehicles.
