After a first GP (in 2006) that made a lasting impression, Mini is back in 2012 with a new GP! Unveiled at the Paris Motor Show, this limited edition of 2,000 cars is a lap time hunter. It is less than half a second off the benchmark for the decade, the Mégane 2 RS R26.R. Conversely, it outrageously dominates its direct competitors and some more powerful models! While there are few changes to the interior (gear knob and sports seats), the exterior is striking with an exclusive body kit, a new color (Thunder Grey metallic), a few touches of red, and JCW and GP emblems that identify the beast. Under the hood is an engine developed by BMW... and PSA! It develops 218 horsepower and benefits from turbo overboost to deliver brutal acceleration. This was the most powerful Mini to date.
