The sixth-generation R30 Skyline, launched in 1981, is nicknamed the ‘Newman Skyline’ after actor and racing driver Paul Newman, who was its brand ambassador. The new ‘2000 RS’ model was fitted with the highly popular ‘FJ20’ four-cylinder engine. Like all JDM (Japan Domestic Market) icons, it is used as the basis for various tuning projects. Here, the configuration is both understated and stylish. It could easily be the ‘hero car’ of a video game from the 2000s.
